The online application includes four sections:

1.       Personal Information
2.       STEMM background
3.       Personal statement including a leadership project idea
4.       Letter of Recommendation if graduate student or postdoc applying for a scholarship

Download our application instructions to plan for the completion of your application before filling in the survey form.  Answer all the essay questions before opening the survey since you cannot save your work in the survey and come back at another time to finish it.

Letter of Recommendation tip: Put in your request for a letter of recommendation at least two weeks prior to the application deadline. Place your request to a group or team leader who knows your work.  We encourage applicants to discuss the availability of funding to sponsor their attendance with these individuals at the time they request a recommendation. Have your letter of recommendation uploaded here.

It helped me develop more confidence and feel inspired by others.”

“I have recommended it to a few women who have since signed up for the course. I love how it made me reflect and the relationships I built through the program.”

“This program is an amazing opportunity to discover the leader inside you and meet other inspiring ones.”

“A great way to practice, modify and sharpen skills that are key for leadership roles. The modules brought awareness to different styles and that there’s no right/wrong ways, just ways to always improve these soft skills.”
